The point is that almost everyone here is underestimating the B1G, basing this opinion on last season. Never mind the fact that Purdue played in the national championship game and that Illinois got to the E8. The B1G is LOADED, despite what the nonsensical preseason forecasts may say.
Those "major sites" you're talking about are largely click bait right now, bait that you and others fall for. Every year. Instead, just look at how teams like Wisconsin and Ohio State and Michigan State and others actually did last season. Look at their rosters, look at their coaches.
This is the main reason UCLA is going to have a very hard time in 2024-25. It's not because the roster is weak (it isn't) or because the travel demands will be more intense (they won't be). It's because we're entering one of the best leagues in the country and we're coached by an inflexible, tempestuous complainer who blames losses on his players instead of himself.
