The current most successful coach in college basketball: Danny Hurley. His wild sideline demeanor involves taking on fans, referees and opposing players as well as his own. You also have no idea of how the coaches you mentioned treat their players in practices without the public watching.
I've already extensively gone over the reasons for the poor season. Very rarely do coaches win with that roster composition.
Most good coaches will produce a team commensurate with the talent level no matter who the players are. Cronin is the type of coach who will overachieve with his type of players and underachieve if they aren't.
