Terry or Tinsley on Saturday?

I'd start Terry again. Both pitchers got in and
out of jams today. I'd do what Inouye-Perez
did vs. Alabama, and bring Tinsley in if Terry falters.

Oklahoma is scary - on offense, particularly.
(They lost Jordy Bahl, pitcher, to Nebraska;
then she went down in her first game and never
returned).

UCLA is scary too. The Bruins started 2-3
including run rules losses to Texas and Oklahoma
State (16-0 an 9-1) back when I thought this
was going to be a rebuilding year.

The Bruins climbed to 8-6 and then ...

35-4 since then.

Not wanting to be a jinx, the Bruins have a
double digit win streak.

The player of the year, Canady, is not fooling
the Longhorns.

I predict OK State will beat Florida.

Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, and UCLA
appear to my prejudicial eyes to be the best
teams in the tournament.

Editorial: If I went into broadcasting, I'd want to
have a good voice - and a substantial vocabulary.

I can't listen to Mowins; her voice; her cliches.

The first two games featured three announcers.
That's at least one too many.

The evening games, only two announcers, including
a man, whose voice and insights are agreeable.

Amanda Scarborough's voice on the other hand ...

Between games, one of my favorite announcers:
Pam Ward. I wish she were in the booth instead
of Mowins.

___

I've said this before: the way this team has developed
has been a great thing to witness. Senior leadership,
a catcher who can catch and hit, and a pitching staff
that managed to find itself and win, even when one
was AWOL for still undisclosed reasons.
