so far Stanford has scored 7 runs in the bottom of the fifth - with two outs no less.
Top of the 5th LSU loaded the bases with one out but the batter hit a fly to left - shaded toward center field - the fielder caught it, the runner at third tagged up but the throw nailed her at the plate. Still 0-0.
Bottom of the inning, Stanford got a couple runners on, then two plays with hits led to Stanford's runner being thrown out at home plate - on two different plays.
Then with two outs, LSU's pitching failed them and after five innings Stanford now leads 7-0 for the privilege of getting to play #1 Texas in the WCWS on Thursday
