Texas came quite close to registering a triple play - late in the game. Grounder to third, fielder fielded the ball, stepped on third, snapped a quick throw to second for the second out but the batter was able to beat the throw to first to avoid the triple play. But from runners on first and second with no one out, a&m found themselves with a runner at first and two outs already in the inning. It was a lovely play to watch
Hopefully a&m has one more really good game in them to take down the #1 seed (this was the first time a #16 beat a #1 seed I believe). But Texas was coming on like gang busters the last couple innings after having slept through the first five or so - won't be easy to knock them out
