the most logical (and well connected) thing I have read so far is that she was quite toxic...and causing issues with the majority of the team as result.
The person I heard this from is reliable and has well connected insider knowledge of the gym world, not just UCLA.
It actually makes a lot of sense when looked at in combination with a few other points. The main one being that she was NOT heavily recruited despite her abilities. UCLA was the ONLY major school to offer her a scholarship and that was from Waller.
So, did the other coaches already know about her toxicity? I think where she ends up transferring to will shed some light.
