that really is good news.
What this team has done, growing up and coming back from a total stumble at the start to now be #6 ranked in the country - so impressive. Such a good year!
I do NOT think we're a viable candidate to win the NC this year. Don't. Freshman pitching ace who seems tired and Tinsley, a sophomore with who has lost just about as many games as she's won this season. Really solid offense, lots of power - but just don't think the pitching is there to carry us through the full NCAA tournament. Still, get there and there's always something to hope for.
So not the end of the world if we can't come back from a 4-0 hole tonight. We'll still make the NCAA tournament and do what we can do there. We have a chance. The upside about losing would be that Terry doesn't have to pitch again before the women's World Series - or Tinsley.
Still, with the hitters we have, there's always a chance - game isn't over yet. And how often have they waited until the sixth inning to go off on an opponent
