I quickly scrolled through his posts and it's not there ... also from what I've seen (I never followed him personally so I wasn't aware of this pattern) this post is way, way too long for Musk. The way he typically engages with Twitter is not by making statements, but by reposting other posts with a quip, a short zinger that is often dumb and innocuous as "100%" or "so true".

There is truly no original statement in his posts. It's just reactions. On the rare occasion he posts something from scratch, it's usually some obscure reference to some sci-fi concept or something nerdy like that that still doesn't say anything.

For someone who is supposedly a man of deep thoughts, there is absolutely nothing there.

That said, I think the post being mocked here captured pretty much those damn CEOs think of themselves as. They tend to see themselves as our betters. They think it is because of them that we, the lowly low earners, the non-billionaires can even survive.(And people like wood seem to have internalized that). You can almost hear them say that the society needs to thank them for taking home millions of dollars every quarter and owning multiple luxury yachts and a couple of islands. I can personally see them silently mouthing "you're welcome".

So I have no doubt that the statement captures the contempt that Mush and people like him feels for his workers:

[...] as CEOs, we are responsible for the delicate balancing act of generating profits for shareholders while also ensuring that shareholders are able to maintain their own personal wealth even in spite of the typical corporate laziness and greed of middle management and their staff.

I could not have stated what CEOs are at their core better than this apparently fake post does. [chef's kiss]
