through our fingers from separation of powers, to separation of church and state, to respect for rule of law, to faith in elections, to any integrity in politics. The list is almost endless. All thanks to voters who are apathetic, or uninformed, or misinformed, or truly ignorant, or fascist/autocratic leaning who let it happen.
A slim majority, but still a majority, of the American people have surrendered their democracy by following irresponsible media outlets and mouthpieces, and false prophets. With such a large group that have intractable beliefs I doubt there's much chance of a healthy reversal. Traditional American values are history for the forseeable future.
