Looks like it is one of those things we ended up moving away from because there is always some other unbelievable sh*t the admin is peddling. At the end though … when you go back to wonder how Germans allowed concentration camps in their midst back in the day … now we know how it feels to not collectively care about an atrocity.
As a reminder, there are plenty of people in those camps that are in this country legally, whether they are green card holders or whatever.
We're letting it slide because we are simply burned out on outrage and can only hold so many things in our heads at any given time.
