James Carville thinks Trump is going to resign within 6 months after the mid terms because be can't stand being a lameduck.
How naive is Carville? Trump was supposed to fade away after losing in 2020. His grip on the GOP only became firmer. He's not going to be a lameduck, not when the whole Republican Party apparatus is for Trump, by Trump, and of Trump. He's not leaving the ballroom unfinished.
He will continue to float the idea of running in 2028, leaving Republican presidential hopefuls in limbo (sorry, JDouche LOL). He will take the case to the Supreme Court arguing he deserves another shot since he was cheated out of a win in 2020. Then if, by any chance, the Court rules against him, he will push Don Jr.
Nobody in the Republican Party will stand up to him. If "all persons born" doesn't mean all persons born according to the MAGA judges, then "more than twice" doesn't have to mean more than twice.
