make the title of the first post something like "topics 2026-08-14" and ask people not to reply to it.
THEN put each news item under your "topics du jour" header post.
with this approach, the replies to your opening post won't compete with your subsequent topic posts. Because there shouldn't be a need to reply to your "topics du jour" opening post if it just contains a date
