Vem Miller was arrested outside the event with 2 guns maybe 3. The local police chief, a "known Trump supporter" said they stopped a 3rd assassination attempt and the guy expressed he was going to shoot Trump.
Vem Miller was released on bail a few hours later, the local authorities said Trump was never in any jeopardy and they had no reason to hold Miller.
The local Trump cop said Miller had a fake ID and fake pass.
Turns out Vem Miller is a "fake reporter" whose shtick includes faking his way into events with fake credentials and doing interviews. he interviewed Jack Posobiec and James O'Keefe among others.
Miller is a registered Republican who ran for office in 2022 on a platform among other things of preventing voter fraud. he's from NEvada, he also had fake passports in the car.
He's apparently a member of the Sovereign Citizens Movement and founded his own network that his podcast is on.
