My sister worked for Santa Clara County elections for decades. She's so glad she's retired now. Even here in a blue area, the Trump nonsense is front and center and they've been warning people for months to be alert. They're also having a really hard time getting "volunteers" because the pay is low and people don't want to be targets for Trump supporters.
in 2020 a friend of mine from school volunteered with his wife, they wound up at the Rosicrucian polling station and there were Trumpers there trying to intimidate voters, in California where trump didn't have a chance of winning.
