A few weeks ago when he did the MOP to stave off a global oil shortage crisis I googled the reserves so I found the same page again.
Biden left just over 400 million barrels which trump called almost empty the lowest in history, it was actually lower in Trumps first term at one point BTW. Trump authorized 172 million drawn out in March, we've apparently done over 100 of that so we're at 298 million. The reserves only work up 70 million if it's below that we can't safely take any more oil so in effect there's 230 million barels left now.
That's about 11.5 days worth of oil if we need it.
BTW in 2024 Trump ran on Biden killed the oil reserves they haven't been this low in 30 years, he's now at a 43 year low himself. Trump said Biden used it to lower prices, which should NEVER be done, and now he's doing it himself to lower prices.
