Iran has a hit list of former Trump aides. Biden just upgraded Trump's security to one that President has (I assume that includes fighters escorting this plane.) I believe Biden just warned Iran about a hit on Trump.
I don't see how a military pilot would necessarily listen to Trump about a coup. I don't know how they exactly would be used in a coup.
