Debbie Dingell is a member of the House, a Dem in Michigan.
She told MSNOW that before and after the election she got phone calls from members of the USPS telling her how understaffed they are, intentionally, and that "nobody was delivering" election materials. Staff had to pulled away from what they were doing and directed to sort and deliver vote by mail ballots, otherwise they would not have been delivered on time. It was so bad Michigan was running ads advising people NOT to mail in their ballots but to use drop boxes or deliver them in person
Dingell said she's very concerned that Trumps people in the post office are going to actively undermine vote by mail in the midterms.
She urged people to make sure they have their ballots and if they don't, show up in person and vote
