I read this morning that deal would be something like 11 million dollars for Iran for just one average size tanker going through, 97% profit margin. The article says Iran would be making as much money in a year as between 10 and 100 billion depending on if traffic through Hormuz returns to the pre Trumpification volume or if it's lower.
Trumps idiots are saying it will be much lower because nations are going to take alternate routes to avoid the fees. Great so they're already doing that right so why are you so desperate to open Hormuz? Because taking alternate routes isn't working and has also enabled the Houthis.
