In his confirmation hearing Durbin asked Blanche about a statement that he made to Durbin in Durbin's office with multiple witnesses where he said he "made a mistake" when he created the slush fund.
When Durbin asked Blanche about that under oath, Blanche said that conversation never happened he never said he made a mistake. Durbin says he has multiple witnesses willing to testify under oath they heard Blanche say it.
