I was a bit too harsh on the baby boomers who came of age during the Vietnam war and Watergate. They have voted more Democratic. The younger boomers and older Gen X make up the backbone of MAGA. They didn't have to worry about the war, so they had the luxury of feeling patriotic again. Reagan made them feel great about America again.
I read that Gen X is the least prepared for retirement of all generations. Look up "silver tsunami." The homeless population is exploding and getting gray. Not to worry, though. We are in not for a trickledown, but an avalanche of wealth raining down on us. After another round of tax cuts.
