Reminder, Trump, Bessent et al were predicting 5 or 6 GDP's going forward in 2026. Last GDP was bad but Bessent said would be much better, and went down from 2.1 to 1.5.
It's the war, but it's also the insanely stupid tariffs
Yesterday when asked about tariffs again he literally said he's ended 5 wars just because of tariffs. Said Pakistan and INdia would still be at war, maybe using nukes, if not for tariffs I called them up and threatened big tariffs on them, and they stopped. India has of course denied the entire thing says Trump had nothing to do with it.
The tariffs have 2 purchases, to try and get bribes from other countries for Trump, and to try and hide how much money he took from us with the taxcuts for the rich and all the other stuff he's doing.
