And before somebody points out that the national vote winner has lost the electoral college twice since 2000, the only other two times it happened were 1876 and 1880. And then it didn't happen again for 120 years...
So, yes, winning the national vote is exceptionally, super, duper, trooper, strongly correlated with winning the electoral college. And thus the notion national polls are meaningless is just totally stupid (or at least 93% stupid).
