in taste? You seem to have just discovered the equivalent of "kissing babies". It's all part of the theatrics. No different than gobbling down fried butter at the Iowa State Fair every 4 years... And maybe just as revolting... Miller and Bud were the beers of choice before we discovered what beer really was, after all.
It's a tough job consuming awful crap and look like you're enjoying it but it comes with the territory with some professions. Same thing with sales people. They also have to stomach a lot of ah*t just to close the deal.
At the end of the day, should anyone really care?
