Scott Pelley finally came out and told the truth of why Trump bailed. He'd agreed, so did Harris, but then Trump demanded an apology from Lesley Stahl for the 2020 interview where she unfairly asked him tough questions like where is your health plan. Trump was "ambushed" so he got mad, walked out, and then Kayleigh handed Stahl a binder that she claimed was a health plan that had no details at all.
It's been out there for a week the reason they pulled out is the campaign was afraid Trump would get mad during the interview and go off on them because he was still mad that they didn't give him softballs the last time.
