Bianco was talking about teachers and layoffs and said "do you know who's not getting laid off?" and Porter said "sheriffs" and the crowd roared.
Hilton does this thing where he not only won't answer questions, he literally won't answer yes or no questions. So he got asked one and again said "it's not that simple" and the crowd groaned and laughed. Then started to talk and they had to tell him 4 times yes or no Mr Hilton yes or no.
Becerra not doing well tonight IMO. Steyer answers every question with I'm the only one on the stage that has done blah blah. Porter did really well I actually think she and Mahan blew the others off the stage I still don't think she can win though she has too much baggage to overcome quickly.
I really like Mahan, he's too inexperienced but he's got a future in this party.
Bianco and Hilton both said they would want offshore drilling in CA, very unpopular with the crowd. Hilton literally said we should stop selling oil we get here, and use it ourselves, uh Steve we can't we have to retrofit most of our refineries to do that. Bianco is a complete and utter moron.
