Russia had a state-of-the-art warship up until yesterday. Equipped with eight Kalibr cruise missiles, range 2000 kilometers. It is precisely these Kalibr missiles with which Russia has been shelling Ukrainian cities for over four years. Residential buildings, hospitals, power infrastructure.
The ship was stationed in the country's most important oil export port on the Baltic Sea, it's mission: protection against Ukrainian drones. Had!
It is exactly this ship that Ukraine SANK yesterday. With drones.
Right on Putin's doorstep. A hundred kilometers from St. Petersburg. Russia can NO LONGER reliably defend its own capital region.
Also hit: a patrol boat, a tanker from Putin's shadow fleet, the infrastructure of the oil terminal. A single coordinated operation involving intelligence, drone units, special forces, and border guards.
Bravo!! 👏👏👏
And on the same day in the Black Sea, two more shadow fleet tankers off Novorossiysk. Double strike. Both flanks. ✊
Before the war, Russia's Black Sea Fleet was considered a military pressure tool across half the Mediterranean. Today it is a graveyard.
The Moskva. The Saratov. Dozens of patrol boats. Tankers in active service. Oil terminals. ALL gone.
Russia's war economy is going up in flames piece by piece, and Ukraine hasn't needed a single battleship to make it happen. But brains. Improvisation. And a courage that NO military academy in the world can teach.
You can be David and beat Goliath in two seas at once.
Wolfgang Ischinger today posed a question that is rarely stated so openly: "Could it be that, given the massive geostrategic shifts, the military protection of Germany and EU partners will in the future be secured less by the USA/NATO and more by our eastern neighbor Ukraine with the most formidable army in Europe?"
The answer lies in the port of Primorsk.
Just imagine if this country had had sufficient Patriot munitions.
Imagine if the promised medium-range missiles had actually been delivered. Imagine if the West had Ukraine's courage.
We would have won the war long ago.
Slava Ukraini.💙💛
