My wife’s good friend is vietnamese. Has lived in Mississippi since he arrived as a refugee in the 70’s. He can tell you all about it if you want to Facebook message with him. This will sound wacky but my b-i-l has befriended an Asian convenience store owner in appalachian Georgia where is mom lives. Pretty sure he’s got the guy’s number. You cd talk to him. Doesn’t get any more bfe than that.
Btw, sis and bil, we’re just in Tulsa for a concert. They really liked it. They said there’s a great museum, funded by oil baron money. Kandinsky is the artist that got me excited to hear about it. If you want to see the museum regarding black wall street, and the Dylan and Guthrie museums be sure to check the dates they’re open. They said they are only open like 4 days/week.
And geez, ask B2BB about your trip, he’s from Oklahoma I think.
