A judge appears ready to order the DOJ to release to the defense in discovery the exact evidence they gave to the Grand jury to get the indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Center. DOJ has been refusing saying doing so is just a fishing expedition and would be prejudicial as any jury would assume wrongdoing. But per reporting from NY Times, Politico and others, the DOJ lied to the GJ telling them SPLC had NOT disclosed to them they were paying informants, when in fact they had clearly disclosed they were. In one example the 2017 charlottesville rally, SPLC had filed a 45 page document with the DOJ in advance that had intel obtained from paid informants about what the white supremacists were planning. DOJ insisted that didn't happen but it did and literally proves the DOJ's claims against SPLC are made up
So I guess that's debunked
