In the article the Tomahawk, because its versatility, is described (in my words) as the "Swiss Army Knife" of US missiles. Of course Kegseth and his toadies respond to concerns about stockpile depletion by saying, nothing to see here, time to move on.
While we probably have the most capable military in the world, the same cannot be said for their civilian overseers. The problem here is brain rot at the very top.
