Take something that belongs to someone else, or someone else has manufactured, stick his name on it like a label and collect licensing fees.
If that's not the definition of monetized celebrity, I don't know what is. I'm pretty sure he expects to cut of the Kennedy Center revenues because he attached his name to it.
