Whether or not you like Rick Wilson of the Lincoln Project, he has done us another solid by providing more background information on criminal AG Pam Bondi. Wilson spent 25 years with Pam Bondi in Florida politics. Besides calling her a “vicious creature” and attesting to her evil character, Wilson points out multiple Achilles Heels when it comes to Bondi.
As to Bondi’s character and ultimate motivators, she’s all about the accumulation of power and wealth. To accomplish this goal, Bondi has worked to protect Trump and the Epstein Class.
An early indicator of this was her work for what is now the premier King of Lobbyists in D.C., Brian Ballard. While working for Ballard’s lobbying group, Bondi made $150,000 a month. And with the return of Trump to D.C., Ballard’s lobbying firm has broken a record revenue stream of over $87 million last year. No other lobbying firm has even broken $80 million before (link behind paywall). Obviously, Bondi wants to return to Ballard a few years from now, and I bet she expects to be handsomely rewarded for her efforts to protect Trump and the Epstein Class.
Part of those efforts is the deliberate release of Epstein survivors’ information in the Epstein case file dump. It is intended to intimidate the survivors and have them shut the f@ck up. This was not incompetence on the part of the DOJ.
Now, for some of Bondi’s faults. According to Wilson, she’s not smart, and he calls her a “sh!t lawyer” that needed a cleanup team of other lawyers to fix all her messes as Florida AG.
Bondi is able to go on a mean girl screed because she is so well prepared with opposition research on every Democrat on any committee she has to testify to. Otherwise, Bondi would be unable to filibuster and not answer direct questions.
Wilson strongly urges House Democrats, when they retake the House that is, to schedule a marathon of hearings with Bondi as the star witness. “Do not take the foot off the gas!” is what Wilson says. He’s theory is that Bondi will be unable to prepare properly for an onslaught of hearings, and eventually, she will break down. In other words, she’s slip and tell more lies and perjure herself.
