A staffer "erroneously made the post" - they don't say which staffer among the many white nationalist extremists employed by the White House made the post, don't explain how Trump came to employ such a vile racist, and don't explain Leavitt trying to hand wave the post away by claiming the reaction was "fake outrage." Likeliest explanation is that Trump thought it was great and also thought the press would just sanewash it like all his other crazy stupid racist crap.
