What is the lesson here?

I know what my lessons are. #1 is don't let internet trolls control your mood or your waking hours. Be able to walk away. (I learned that around 2008 and I believe that made me a better functioning person.)

What's your #1 rule that you want me to learn from all this? Be the bigger dick than the one everyone already knows about and dislikes?
