These are the rules, if you say forget the rules, then you have no right to complain about anything.
The rules are simple and straightforward.
No profanity. If you can't convey your point without resorting to profanity then you probably need to expand your vocabulary or search for a more accomodating forum.
Respect the opinions of others. Disagree all you want with someone's opinion, but do so without demeaning them or name calling. You'll come off much better if you disagree with someone by presenting an intelligent and well crafted post in rebutal rather than calling the person an "idiot" or questioning their parentage---it will also allow these forums to become more hospitable places to visit.
Stay somewhat on-topic.
Do not cut-n-paste copyrighted stories. Provide a link instead.
