Governor Kemp already confirmed Trump lied, he's spoken to both Biden and Harris, both promised him any help he needs. Biden is trying to get a special congress to appropriate more funding, the House didn't put anything extra in the CR budget for disaster even though they knew Helene was coming.
Meanwhile the guys behind Project 2025, Trump, are trying to REDUCE funding for disaster relief, dramatically.
The best part was Trump saying he talked to "Elon" about getting Star Link up and running over the impacted areas so people can get wifi. They're low earth orbit satellites moron they're already there. You need the dish and the modem and power, all of which the feds and FEMA already are doing. In fact "Elon" confirmed exactly that already, the feds contacted him.
