A combination of bullying and not wanting to be accused of wanting Trump to be assassinated.
If you even suggest he probably wasn't hit by a bullet people accuse you of wanting him dead.
Same with Covid, the same people screaming Harris hid Biden's cognitive decline and should have invoked the 25th amendment literally refuse to admit when Trump had Covid, per Mark Meadows, he was so sick they thought he was going to die. after his 2nd dose of regeneron, he was literally the first person in the WORLD to get 2 doses, he was unconscious for several hours from that and the steroids they gave him. during that time, by LAW, they should have invoked the 25th and made Pence acting POTUS, but Trump when still conscious ordered them NOT to do it, so they didn't.
I will wager money that in a few years someone connected to that secret service detail will admit that Trump wasn't actually hit by the bullet and they told them all to pretend he was.
