Problems. You should get some help before it gets worse. Your hate can turn to violence
We aren't Chasing MAGA's around on other boards. You are the one coming here to create dispute. You are clearly the violent one.
The role of personal struggles
Beyond direct retaliation, personal struggles rooted in past victimization can contribute to a person's decision to troll.
Trauma and personality traits: A 2023 study found that individuals with a history of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) were more likely to engage in internet trolling, particularly if they also showed "dark" personality traits such as psychopathy and everyday sadism. In these cases, childhood trauma acted as a moderator that amplified the impact of these personality traits.
Coping mechanism for insecurity: Some individuals may troll as a coping mechanism to deal with feelings of inadequacy, insecurity, or powerlessness stemming from their real-life experiences as a victim. The anonymity of the internet allows them to feel a sense of dominance they lack offline.
Misdirected venting: A person in a negative mood is more likely to troll online. If someone is in a bad mood due to their experience as a victim, they may vent their anger at others online. One psychologist described this as the "starving man" effect, where a person hurt and in pain may lash out carelessly at others.
