a bunch of new posts mode just to get noticed. Then he will invent new handles to engage people until he is figured out. Hence the turd in the punchbowl. He will spoil it one way or another.
He needs that attention. Whether he is compensating for some personality deficit or being paid to do so (or both) is the only question in my mind.
And yes, like fan4ever says, he is doing this as part of a larger scheme, whether consciously or not, to spread certain memes. So there is a larger angle here too.
