border?
In the last few weeks, a drone was shot into Lithuania and Poland.
Next, Russia shoots 20+ drones into Poland.
Poland and NATO makes no comment on the drones.
Belarus plans a joint training exercise with Russia near the Polish border.
Poland closes their border, and NATO troops are brought to the border.
Russia now sends another 20+ drones into Poland, some traveling 500 km into Polish territory.
A team of NATO fighters, helos, and AWACS (Polish, Netherlands, and Italians) shoot down the drones.
This makes no sense. If NATO wanted to, it could escalate by either allowing Ukraine to use EU munitions for deep strike missions or giving Ukraine cruise missiles.
Ukraine in the last 4 weeks has taken 20+% of Russian oil refining capacity offline, but that is with planes packed with 100 kg of explosives. If they give Ukraine cruise missiles, they can hit their refineries with 1000 kg.
Russia is able to repair its refineries after Ukraine's current drone strikes, but it would be very different if they are hit with a Tomahawk.
