Few points.

They apparently now have the rifle and say they're looking for a college age shooter so they appear to think it;s a student. It's Utah they all grew up hunting so certainly possible someone is a good enough shooter.

I can see why Kirk would be a target if your motivation is to hurt the Republican party. Kirk was VERY influential in recruiting HS and college age first time voters to vote for Trump. Even Trump admitted that he thanked Kirk for the uptick in young voters for Trump. And now that he's dead they are making him a martyr so that will probably help the GOP in the election. The Melissa Hortman shooting fell out of the news cycle right away due to Trump, this one will be in the cycle for months I believe.

For that precise reason if the person was a Dem they picked a terrible target. I did't like Kirk at all and I don't condone the violence but they didn't help any cause at all and killed a guy with a wife and 2 young kids.

They just released images of the person of interest all in black flag on the shirt looks young.

My fear is lots of violence because of this. One of the crazy azz right wing theories is right before the shot there's a guy behind Kirk waving his arms "at the neck" all in white as if he's telling the shooter ok fire. They're all trying to identify the guy in white. The guy in white works for... Charlie Kirk! He's his sign language interpreter he works for Kirk at every show, wears white so he's easy for the crowd to see. But these idiot morons are online trying to crowdsource and dox the guy because they think he signalled the shooter. I hope the FBI protects that poor guy
