A white female lawyer gets frozen out of the firm she started and joins a new firm headed by an old friend. The guy (Delroy Lindo) runs a Chicago firm that is all black.
1) It probably has one of the best theme songs of all time. It is totally overproduced but is such an audio wonder, I smile evetime I hear it.
2) The show is so prophetic it seems like it was written today
3) One of the most joyful moments in the series(4-1) and I'm gonna spoil it but it simply can't be spoiled is when Diane wakes up to an alternate world where Hilary won the election because in this timeline, trump's shenanigans sunk him.
After walking around the office wondering what happen to her time line, she finally realizes she is in a new world. In this glass office all the associates are talking about her because she seems to have lost it. However. You can see her in her office watching Hilary on her large screen TV, in her glass office joyously dancing to her new reality. There is no sound because we are watching her dance from her associate's perspective. but if I somehow got swapped out of this reality into a rational reality, would I dance with crazy abandon.
Otoh, there is a star trek episode where all the realities collide into our reality. But there is one reality where the Borg is winning and taking over everything, the Riker from that universe just saw Picard killed. When they figure out everyone has to go back to their original universe, the Other Riker says I'm not going back and soon as he warms up the ships guns our Picard blows him out of the sky. To save all the universes.
So what would I do if I had the luck to switch to a rational reality. But I had to go back to save the multiverse.
Answer, you have to go back. But who says you have to go back unarmed. The question is what do you take back from the rational universe to save the broken universe?????????
