She comes off strong since she's been writing about this stuff for a while so she's a little p*ssed off for being dismissed. I don't take her word to be the definitive truth about Garland, but she puts things on the table that are worth keeping in mind. So even if you feel turned off by her tone, keep reading until you get to the quick rundown of Gorelick's history.
Is it guilt by association? Perhaps. But very clearly Garland has done nothing that suggests he is of a different mold than Gorelick.
