decision also inoculate Trump against consequences of violating the constitution any way he pleases? If he's above the laws or any legal consequences in orders he issues as the president (redundant because civilians can't issue those orders) he is also certainly above the constitution, whether it's the 22nd amendment or decision to assign co-presidency overtly to someone who's not native born (and then give himself full pardon, then resign)? These would all be official orders he issues and whether they're against the laws or the constitution is kinda irrelevant, no?
