He's pathological narcissist after all. Any sleight is an injury to his ego, which normally triggers a string of social media attacks.
This whole "President Musk" thing though? He's been mum thus far, which is significant enough.
He knows he's owned by Musk.
He knows we know that he's owned by Musk.
If he strikes back and declares himself the top dog, Musk will yank that chain so hard he won't know which way is up between now and his inauguration.
So he's stuck. Seething. Boiling under his skin. But still stuck.
