CBS has Cal +1.5, ESPN has Cal -1.5. I'd guess somebody has a misprint tho.
In my mind, Cal should be about a 4-5pt favorite
just about all of that is home field advantage, plus better trenches returning, but we have better skill position players returning. Cal also brought in a good transfer portal class.
so, for me:
Skill positions - Edge UCLA
Trenches - Edge Cal
Coaching - Edge UCLA (mostly because Lupoi has never been an HC before)
If our trenches are competitive, we should win, but that's a big if. If they are not, Nico and Co will make mistakes which would probably kill us.
