Ex-Cal football standout accused of stealing $32M for Hawaiian home, Humboldt ranch
While serving as president of the Tennessee branch of Taylor Fresh Foods from 2012 until this March, Brian Thure used his access to the company’s bank accounts, credit cards, payroll and other sources of funds to enrich himself through “fraudulent misrepresentation” and diversion of funds to “sham entities and personal bank accounts,” the company said in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Tennessee.
He allegedly used $1 million of the stolen funds to support Cal football, according to the lawsuit.
