Definitely good enough for a winning season. Unlikely to be competitive this season against Oregon and Michigan. And will be swimming upstream against Illinois and Minnesota. The rivalry game is a tossup and Riley seems capable of losing to anyone.
8 wins feels like the absolute ceiling to me. 7 likely, and 6 possible with a bad break or two.
I'll believe the NIL is "significantly stepped up" when Chesney signs a 5-star (one that actually plays like one on the field).
