Also known as the Baader-Meinhoff effect. If you hadn't been talking about the 1982 UCLA-Stanford game, you would have seen the suggestion and ignored it. But since you were talking about it, the suggestion was remarkable.
It's not that Apple might not be listening to what you were talking about. However, if they were, the data they gleaned is very valuable to them. They might use it to boost the quality of ads or recommendations they make to you, but they would never let someone else use that data.
