We've always been a dual UCLA/Notre Dame family! Remembering many games attended at the Coliseum against usc rooting for the Irish!

Then the thrill of attending the UCLA/Notre Dame game in South Bend in 2006. UCLA had that game won against the #10 Irish, only to go 3 and out (all they needed was a first down to ice the game), and had to punt it and then the Irish went 80 yards in 3 plays to win 20-17. That Brady Quinn to Jeff Samardzija TD pass for 45 yards with 34 seconds remaining is something I'll never forget! I've never heard a crowd yell that loud! If only Dorrell hadn't gone into a prevent D to end the game...stupid. UCLA D was tough the whole game.

Then in 2007, we lost to the Charlie Weiss led crappy Irish team 20-6 in the Rose Bowl after giving up 7 turnovers.

The other thrill was traveling back to South Bend in 2008 and watching the Irish beat Michigan 35-17 in a rain-soaked game because of hurricane Ike. Being at Notre Dame stadium is what college football is all about! During the game nobody is out of their seat. They all stay seated for the band at halftime and there's no one wandering around outside during the game.
