Is the timing of the opportunity to enroll important?

I'd guess that a guy could enter the portal, complete his classes at UCLA this quarter, and then begin classes in Jan.

Didn't the baby kangaroo do that with classes at UCLA before he went to Tennessee - completed the Spring quarter at UCLA?
